______________________________________________________________________ My primary responsibility is STUDENT growth and offering all STUDENTS the educational opportunities that will maximize their potential. My goal as an educator is to focus on increased STUDENT performance by maintaining high expectations, modeling integrity and good citizenship, and promoting lifelong learning in a climate of shared responsibility among school, home and community.” Today’s world demands STUDENTS who think critically. This is attainable by challenging you in your work performance as STUDENTS work to achieve their goals. Within the promotion requirements, you will find expectations for each STUDENT to receive a well-rounded education. This includes a unique combination of rigorous academic standards and achievement in an inviting working environment.
The STUDENTS are provided with numerous opportunities to be challenged as they learn and grow through dual credit college courses, advanced placement courses, and nationally recognized career academy classes. As part of our requirements, STUDENTS are expected to have four years in language arts, three years in math, science and social studies.
Although, CORE classes may be your main focus, elective courses are very important to graduation requirements. Specialty Classes should not be selected by pulling straws out the hat, but instead with focus on career goals. Students can benefit from challenging classes in engineering and architecture, music, drama, information technology, business and the work place, child development, and personal wellness. Additionally, in our AP courses and honors programs, STUDENTS are ensured to have success and be appropriately challenged.
One of our greatest strengths is the pride and support from our community, and our parents are critical contributors to the success of our STUDENTS. I welcome your academic commitment, as we work to achieve mastery in our course content.
