This course introduces employees to topics related to business, and finance to cover business in the global economy, functions of business organization and management, marketing basics, and significance of business financial and risk management. English language arts, social studies, and mathematics are reinforced. Work-based learning strategies appropriate for this course include mentorship, school-based enterprise, service learning, and job shadowing. Cooperative education is not available for this course.
In each "unit," there will be "elements." Once we complete an element, the material used to go over that subject will be posted online to use to review for quizzes, tests, and the final exam. Check the "sub-pages" at the bottom of the page to see the units that are presently posted.
